AUG 1982 to APR 1984, 40 Hours/Week
ADP Specialist, $15/hr
OAO Corp (GSA reg 7), 1221 N. Main Street, San Antonio, Texas
Bruce Hair, (?)

Performed Systems Analysis and Advanced Technology Research for USAF Learning Abilities Measurement Project (Project LAMP) at the Air Force Human Resources Laboratory
Provided scientific and technical expertise in exploring and expanding the capabilities of Air Force's testing laboratory for the Learning Abilities Measurement Program (Project LAMP). The goal of this project was to assess the learning ability/training potential of subjects without traditional academic success. This assessment was to be accomplished using newly available PCs with subjects who may have no computer skills before the assessment session. Mr. Weissmuller designed the assessment system and translated research scientists' theoretical test objectives into concrete plans then trained and directed the efforts of contract support personnel such as lead programmers, test automation technicians, test proctors, and statistical analysis specialists. To expand the domain of possible tests, Mr. Weissmuller tested and evaluated advanced technologies in experimental test batteries. These technologies included networking interactive tests, computer-interfaced video disk and video tape systems, speech generation and recognition systems, graphics tablets, and touch-sensitive screens. Performed some business development: Wrote technical content of proposals and suggested staff and budget.
